The Miss Newark USA Pageant was Iliana's first venture into the pageant world. Her mom found a post on Facebook and knew Iliana would love to sign up. They attended a workshop to meet the 2020 Royalty, and learn about MNUSA, and signed up for a one on one coaching session with the director.
During the coaching session, the director made sure to give her a few tips when it comes to modeling on stage, public speaking, and walking patterns.
During the pageant Iliana and her mom were the dynamic pageant duo! They were ready and prepared to take the crown. She did an amazing job in every competition and now has the title of Miss Newark USA 2021 Preteen.
It always helps to attend workshops and book a session with the director. The workshops are very helpful especially for the parents. We want everyone to feel welcome, on ease, and excited to compete!
